The purpose of the VIGIA project is to provide a set of technologies that assist in the exploration of information from large communities based on the content generated by the users that make them up. VIGIA performs content analysis, based on deep learning technologies for Natural Language Processing (NLP) for the detection of entities and events and sentiment analysis in social media.
VIGIA focuses on the visualization of large user community graphs (on a scalable backend that facilitates the generation of such graphs, not supported by current technologies), providing different levels of abstraction thanks to the analysis of user-generated content – obtained from both social networks and the web (news, blogs, RSS).
As a use case for VIGIA, the project’s technologies will be oriented towards the analysis of communities for online marketing applications (search for communities with needs regarding a product, communities likely to accept innovative products, etc.). However, the VIGIA project is presented as a technological solution of interest to other sectors such as the financial sector where graph analysis is applied to detect anomalous user behavior, or cybersecurity with the analysis of suspicious transactions between users on the deep web.
The project requires strong initial research. These are immature technologies, very close to the state of the art and addressed mainly in academic environments. Gradiant’s main work is research into the technologies to be applied, the study of academic literature and the research/selection/development of algorithms.
This company participates in an international projectoperation co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund operational programme Feder Galicia 2014-2023.
In support of the internationalisation process, Elogia Media SL has received aid from the Xunta de Galicia through Igape co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Galicia 2014-2020 Feder operational programme, OT3 Achieving a more competitive business fabric. A way of making Europe.
The main objective of these grants is to encourage and stimulate Galician foreign trade and the internationalization of Galician SMEs.
The intended result is to increase the base of exporting companies and consolidate the presence of Galician companies in international markets.
In our case, the aid received has been used to strengthen our presence at the Eshow Mexico fair held on April 2 and 3, 2019. We were able to invest in a stand and sponsorship of the event where we were able to promote all the services offered by Elogia to Mexican companies.
It’s quite likely that you know what landing pages are, or that you’ve at least encountered them on more than one (or two) occasion. These landing pages, like a welcome committee, greet visitors to a website with the best of smiles and try to achieve a specific objective set by the company, whether it’s to guide these newcomers through the conversion funnel, or to obtain some of their precious data through a simple form.
However, there are still a large number of companies that do not take advantage of the full potential that these landing pages can have to improve their traffic and results. For this reason, one more year Elogia, wanting to grow in the e-commerce space, has decided to enrich its portfolio of solutions by incorporating a new innovative product that improves the positioning of our company.
A NEW LANDING PAGE GENERATOR
In a constant desire to improve our technological platforms, we have proposed a Landing Page Generation platform project that will allow us to improve the conversion to users of the marketing campaigns carried out by our clients.
This project will allow Elogia to position itself as a technological reference in the advertising world of traffic optimization, allowing a greater penetration of our solutions in the field of eCommerce.
The project, with code TSI-100104-2014-73, has been co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation Plan 2014-2015 within the framework of the Strategic Action of the Digital Economy and Society in the 2014 call for proposals.
Digital content editors are currently overwhelmed by the high number of contents and the limited filtering capacity they have. Although the creation of content has become universal, the quality of the content is low. In an environment where anyone can generate and publish information, performing the functions of “curator”, that is, carrying out the curation of social media content, has a differential and useful value for digital audiences. Content curation has a capital value in audience loyalty, in the generation of thematic authority of the brand, and in short, in all the processes of brand construction in the digital environment.
WHAT DOES THE PROJECT OFFER AND PROVIDE?
This project focuses on offering technological solutions for the “curation” of social media content in all its phases: Search, Selection, Personalization (Sense) and Sharing.
The project will provide innovative technologies for content analysis, editing and reach measurement, through the application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and the latest advances in deep learning technologies.
This project has been funded by the national program RETOS-Colaboración 2015 with European Regional Development Funds (ERDF).
EFOROS is coordinated by Elogia in collaboration with GRADIANT.
GRADIANT is the Technological Center for Telecommunications of Galicia. The project brings its capacity for research and development of technologies for content analysis and particularly its mastery of NLP technologies, a leading line of work of the Centre and validated thanks to (among other great results) its awards in international competitions, such as SEMEVAL and the multiple publications of our engineers on the subject.
Elogia’s innovative initiative, together with GRADIANT’s experience and drive in this type of call for aid for R&D projects, has been decisive for the success in preparing the proposal.
The project has been funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness:
